Episode 8387 was broadcast on 31 October 2024, as part of Series 90.
David Roe played Will Rogers, with David Roe winning 95 – 53. The Dictionary Corner guest was Neil Delamere, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
To celebrate Halloween, the set was given a one-off makeover, with the hosts and DC dressing up for the occasion, Colin as his originally created character, 'Count Down', Rachel as Marilyn Monroe, Susie as 'The Hexacographer', and Neil Delamere as Frankenstein's Monster.
In addition, the opening titles were edited to fit the occasion, with the logo turning red after being struck by lightning, and during the conundrum, horror-themed sound bites accompanied the hallowed clock music.
