Krishnan Guru-Murthy is a guest on Countdown. He is well known as a veteran broadcast journalist for Channel 4 News since 1998, which he has anchored since 2022. He also presents the long-running Channel 4 documentary series Unreported World. Earlier in his career he worked for the BBC, notably for the children's programme Newsround, Newsnight and as one of the launch presenters of the BBC News Channel in 1997.
