Tom O'Connor (31 October 1939 — 18 July 2021) was a comedian and regular Countdown guest, having made over 100 appearances. He was a comedian who specialised in old-fashioned story-type jokes with a plot and punchline. He was the first guest under Des O'Connor's tenure as host.
