Matt Le Tissier is a guest on Countdown. He is a former professional footballer, having played for Southampton and England.
In 2015, he announced that he had applied to be a contestant and had passed the audition, thus making him only the third person to have appeared both as a guest and as a contestant after Damian Eadie and Alex Horne.
