The Countdown Appreciation Webring, run by Mike Brailsford is dedicated to the highly successful, long running Channel 4 quiz show, Countdown.

The show began on November 2nd 1982, and was presented for nearly 23 years by the late, great Richard Whiteley. In 2005, legendary sports presenter, Desmond Lynam had the unenviable task of taking over presenter's chair.

In 2007, we got new host in the shape of singer and chat show host, Des O'Connor. Carol Vorderman has been a fixture throughout, as we head towards Countdown's Silver Jubilee. We feature every contestant, every match, and just about any trivia titbit associated with our favourite parlour game.

So, put on your LEOTARD, nibble a TANGELO and settle back. The clock starts now !
