Lisa Hermann scored three wins in Series 42 before losing on a tie-break conundrum, largely because, she says, "I forgot certain aspects of my Cambridge Maths Degree, in particular that 9x5 = 45 rather than 35." Her personal highlight was seeing the word FLUNK in her first round, having a fit of the giggles and setting Carol off. The other highlight was meeting Stephen Fry.
She is a mother of 2 and Test Team Leader and married to Mark. Her son (9 1/2) is one of those precocious little horrors Damian Eadie loves so much who learn their letters from the programme before the age of 18 months. Her daughter (15 months) doesn't show the same potential yet but does like the clock music.
