Philip Franks is one of the few Dictionary Corner guests who is believable when they say that they (and not Susie Dent) got a word. He applied for the show, but in the interim got famous and did the dirty with Catherine Zeta Jones while David Jason encouraged them. Or something. 176 appearances since his debut in Series 23.
