Trevor Noah was a contestant in 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He is a South African comedian and actor and most famous for hosting The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Comedy Central in the United States since 28 September 2015 and is thus unlikely to appear in any further episodes in the near future.

Controversially, in July 2018, after France won that year's World Cup, he made a joke on his show saying "Africa won the World Cup", so much so as to draw criticism from the French Ambassador to the US Gérard Araud. His response to that subsequently also gained the same level of controversy. [1]
