CoBris 2005 was the first time that Countdown in Bristol was organized. It was held on the Saturday 30th July at the in the Waddelow Hall, a meeting room attached to Broadmead Baptist Church, Union St, Bristol. The event was won by Series 54 champion Conor Travers. The line-up included a total of four series winners: Travers, Ben Wilson from Series 46, Kirk Bevins who would go on to win Series 60 in 2009, and Mark Murray who would win Series 70 in 2014. It was hosted by James Macarthur, the organizer Jerry Humphreys was in Dictionary Corner, Steve Davies & William Lowry were the board assistants, and the games were archived by Jon O'Neill.
