CoBris 2006 was the second time that Countdown in Bristol was organized. It was held on the Saturday 8th July at the Bristol County Sports Association, Colston Street, close to the centre of Bristol. The event was won by Series 47 champion Chris Wills. The line-up included a total of five series winners: Wills, Mark Tournoff from Series 52, Conor Travers from Series 54, Kirk Bevins who would go on to win Series 60 in 2009, and Mark Murray who would win Series 70 in 2014. It was hosted by Daniel Peake, the organizer Jerry Humphreys was in Dictionary Corner, William Lowry, Steve Davies & James Scrivin were the board assistants, the bar supervisor was Dave Osborne, and the games were archived by Jon O'Neill.
