Countdown in Huddersfield, or COHUD as it is more commonly known, is the name of an annual Countdown tournament held in the town of Huddersfield. It began in 2012, and is co-organized by Jeff Clayton, who in the past had organised the Leicester and Chester tournaments & James Robinson.

2012

The 2012 tournament, COHUD, took place on Saturday 30 June 2012. It was held at the Galpharm Stadium, the home of Huddersfield Town. 30 contestants took part, and the winner was the Series 60 champion, Kirk Bevins, who beat Series 64 contestant, Dan McColm 98 – 79 in the final.

2013

The 2013 tournament, COHUD2, took place on Saturday 6 July 2013. It was held at the John Smith's Stadium (different sponsor, same stadium), the home of Huddersfield Town. 28 contestants took part, and the winner, yet again, was the Series 60 champion, Kirk Bevins, who beat Series 69 octochamp, Glen Webb 87 – 69 in the final.

Countdown Aces Trophy

A special tournament, Countdown Aces Trophy, took place on Saturday 23 November 2013. It was held at the Grosvenor Casino. As well as James Robinson and Jeff Clayton, Anna Woodward co-hostied this event. 14 contestants took part, and the winner was Series 66 champion Jack Worsley, who defeated Kirk Bevins 11 – 7 in the maxes-only final.

It was held at PPG Canalside, the training complex of Huddersfield Town. 22 contestants took part, and the winner, yet again, was the Series 66 champion, Jack Worsley, who beat Series 69 champion, Callum Todd 151 – 144 in the 20-round grand final.
