William Bradford

William Bradford was an octochamp in Series 3.

A hotelier from Cambridge, he first appeared on 17 October 1983 and beat 7-time winner Allan Simmons. He went on to become the first octochamp in Countdown history.

Also know as Bill, he is a top Scrabble player. His son, Peter, appeared on the show in Series 25.
