Alan Coren (27 June 1938 – 18 October 2007) was a contestant in Series 1 of Celebrity Countdown. He was a satirist and journalist. His daughter and son-in-law have both appeared as contestants on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and his son has appeared as a Dictionary Corner guest on Countdown.
