Anton du Beke is a guest on Countdown. He is best known for appearing as one of the professional dance partners and judge in BBC One's programme Strictly Come Dancing. On Strictly, he has partnered six former Dictionary Corner guests: Lesley Garrett, Esther Rantzen (in the same series as Carol Vorderman), Jan Ravens, Kate Garraway, Lesley Joseph, and most memorably, Ann Widdecombe.
