James Squires was a contestant in Series 24 and 40.
He first appeared as an eight year old and, after a narrow defeat, the production team allowed him to appear again seven years later. Unfortunately, he was unable to improve on his first performance. Squires is the only contestant known to have been admitted to the show a second time while still under 16.
Despite this, he has since become a competitive Scrabble player and finished 7th in the 2017 UK Open.
