Episode CC3 was broadcast on 3 May 1982 in the Yorkshire region only as the third quarter final of Calendar Countdown.

Pamela Clough played John Reed, with Pamela Clough winning 30 - 13. The Dictionary Corner guest and the lexicographer was Ted Moult.

NOTE: Moult appeared to change his mind during the program on the validity of MAILS in Round 2, but Whiteley did not change the scores.
