Ian McMenzie was a viscount and quarter-finalist in Series 46. He was from Newcastle upon Tyne.

He made his debut in the first episode of the series, and became the first-ever winner of the 15-round format, beating Simon Pope with a score of 64, which coincidentally would stand for months as the lowest winning score of the new format. He won a further five games to become the first viscount of the series, and returned for the finals as number five seed, where he lost his quarter-final to Paul Ryan.
