Steven Grady in Series 84.
Steven Grady was a contestant in Series 84. He was a Maths Teacher from Edinburgh.
He is also an Apterite, and was a finalist on ZoomDown Series 3, and contestant in ZoomDown Series 5, missing out on tetrachampdom in the latter series. Regardless, he still qualified for the end-of-series finals, where he unexpectedly beat No. 1 seed Elliott Mellor in his quarter-final; the latter having himself beaten the No. 1 seed Dan McColm in the ZoomDown Series 1 knockout rounds. A very close game against No. 5 seed Gabriel Thallon followed, where Steven lost by a single point after neither player turned the fiendish conundrum scramble OUTOILING into OLINGUITO.
