Ranvir Singh is a guest on Countdown. She is a television presenter and broadcast journalist. In the north west of England where she originated from, Singh was well known to BBC viewers as a co-anchor on the regional news programme, North West Tonight, from 2005 to 2012.
In 2012, she left the programme and migrated to ITV where she presented on the defunct breakfast television magazine, Daybreak. She then continued working for its successor programme, Good Morning Britain, where she became a co-anchor. Initially, this was on a relief basis but has since become permanent.
Singh also had a six-year stint as a relief presenter for ITV News from 2014 to 2020. She is also known to viewers as host of the ITV quiz show, Riddiculous, since 2022 and appeared as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020.
