Episode 2045 was scheduled to be broadcast on 9 July 1997, as part of Series 36.
Allen Horn played Joy Hill, with Joy Hill winning 42 – 22. The Dictionary Corner guest was David Jacobs, and the lexicographer was Catherine Stokes.
This episode was pulled from the schedule after it was revealed that Horn was a convicted child molester, so The 2000th Edition was repeated in its place.
