Alex Brooker was a contestant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He was originally on the show as Josh Widdicombe's mascot in 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 7, Episode 16, but in Round 3 of the show, Josh allowed him to play against Sean Lock, and won six points for his team. He later appeared again, this time properly more than half a year later.
He is a journalist and comedian, famous for appearing on The Last Leg with Adam Hills and since February 2018, he has been a player for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation PDRL (Physical Disability Rugby League).
