Series 89 is the upcoming series of Countdown, and the fifth series to feature Colin Murray as presenter. It will begin on 2 January 2024 and will conclude in June 2024.

Mark Goodliffe, who won the final four preliminary matches of Series 87, returned to continue his run in the first heat of this series.
