Revision as of 18:29, 28 December 2024
Episode 6491 was broadcast on 21 December 2016, and was the first semi-final of Series 75.
Martin Hurst played Andrew Fenton, with Martin Hurst winning 100 – 64. The Dictionary Corner guest was Carol Kirkwood, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
NOTE: In Round 3, Hurst was awarded points for his solution, despite the fact that it used a 7 that was not in the selection (though a 7 could easily have been made by summing the unused 5 and 2, or subtracting the 2 from the other 9). This would not have affected the outcome of the match.
