This was the first regular episode played on the "new" blue Countdown set, featuring red and brown accents as well as brighter blue LED screens for CECIL and the contestants' scores. Partial and modified versions of the set had however, previously been seen in episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 13 the month before.
