The game after Rhys Jones became an octochamp, Page made his debut and built up a steady stream of six victories which included three centuries before ultimately coming unstuck against June Jensen. Coming down to a crucial conundrum which had been a slight weakness for Page across his heats, Jensen managed to turn CREEPDIVE into PERCEIVED to end Page's run. But his six wins were eventually enough to qualify as the No. 7 seed for the finals.
