Lucy Summers was Countdown's third and shortest-serving letters girl.

She did one series before flouncing off as she decided that she wanted to be a serious actor, dahling and not some cheap game show hostess. She was last spotted, plying her trade as a gardening expert.

When Summers left, the producers decided they couldn't be bothered doing any more casting and let Carol Vorderman take over all the hostess duties.
