Countdown in Braintree 2023 is an upcoming co-event to be hosted by Jeff Clayton on 4 November 2023 as the sixteenth and final preliminary round of the 2023 FOCAL season.

It will be held at St Michael's Church House in the town of Braintree in Essex, where attendees will play five 14-round games in the Bristol format, alternating with rounds of "The Big Weekend Quiz": a format Clayton has devised for pub quizzes he regularly presents.
