Michael Kane in Series 90.

Michael Kane was a contestant in Series 90 and 91. He was an airport baggage security company team manager, from Manchester. He became an Apterite after his heats were broadcast.

He won the last three games of Series 90, before his run was postponed to make way for the Series 90 finals. He returned in January 2025 to resume his run in Series 91, where he won a further three games before being unseated by Mike Le-Surf. Those six wins and 607 points were ultimately just enough to make the series finals in June, where he qualified as the eighth seed and into the first quarter-final, where he lost to Rhys Jones.
