Owain Wyn Evans is a guest on Countdown. He is a Welsh BBC presenter, perhaps best known for his prolific weather forecaster roles, which he has conducted for BBC Wales, BBC North and - since 2018 - BBC North West. He also works for BBC Radio, most notably on BBC Radio 2's Early Breakfast Show. Evans came to national prominence when he drummed the BBC News theme on television, a clip which went viral in the United Kingdom on social media.
