John Virgo is a guest on Countdown. He is a commentator for the BBC's coverage of snooker, who played the game professionally from 1976 to 1994. Alongside Jim Davidson, Virgo co-presented the game show Big Break, which ran from 1991 to 2002.
He died on 4 February 2026.
