Katharine Merry is a guest on Countdown. She is a former Team GB Olympic sprinter who won bronze in the 400 metres at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She has spent many years working for the BBC, Channel 4 and other broadcasters as a sports commentator post-Olympics. She’s also been a regular on the former BBC show, A Question of Sport.
