Talk:Episode 4473

From Countdown

This page is based on the skeleton data of Mike Brown's Countdown Page.

Discussion moved from Talk:Episode S24

Episode 4473 redirects here, I just looked at Series 57 and after Craig Beevers run there's a gap in the numbers, so I thought the missing episode could redirect here, or we could do the opposite and change the name, then change the redirect links. What are other people's opinions? Mglovesfun 17:04, 25 April 2008 (BST)

I think this page should be called Episode 4473. S24 implies that it's part of the original batch of specials with Richard Whiteley. At some point I still plan to change the titles to dates anyway, because the episode number system is really clunky. Charlie 18:03, 25 April 2008 (BST)
Whatever this episode is called, it's not part of Series 57. And so 4472 should forward link to 4474, and 4474 backward link to 4472, rather than each of them linking to here. Regarding this special episode, I don't really think it matters what it's called, so long as it's referred to in an index of specials. Drawoh 18:09, 25 April 2008 (BST)
Seems like we have a similar situation to the 18th birthday specials and the '500th', '1000th' and '1500th' shows- which are counted in the overall numbering system, and personally, I'd agree the same thing happening here. The S-shows aren't numbered purely because they were recorded as filler, to be broadcast whenever was deemed necessary- this show was always intended to be broadcast between 4472 and 4474. 81.159.124.164 19:38, 25 April 2008 (BST)
That was me, my cookies system obviously needs booting up the arse. Nebagram 19:39, 25 April 2008 (BST)
In fairness, it was only because I didn't realise that there was a gap in the numbering that I gave this a 'special' number. So I'll change it now. Mglovesfun 14:37, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

AUREOLING

This is a word, according to this solver here, but you are most insistent it isn't. --The Doctor 20:49, 9 August 2010 (BST)

Your solver clearly uses the wrong dictionary. AUREOLING is certainly not in the OED2r. JRTerrier24 00:05, 10 August 2010 (BST)

Look here. It is. The Doctor 20:44, 27 August 2010 (BST)
