Countdown in Birmingham was the final Countdown tournament of 2016, held on Saturday 3rd December at the Strathallan Hotel in Birmingham. The event was effectively two separate tournaments; one for the top 8 players throughout the year, who will receive free entry and play each other in a round robin, while running alongside it is an open tournament.
Despite this, players of all experience levels were warmly invited. The open tournament was won by Stephen Read.
