Ian Mcmenzie was a quarter-finalist from series 46. He made his debut in the first episode of the series, and became the first-ever winner of the 15-round format, beating Simon Pope with a score of 64, which coincidentally would stand for months as the lowest winning score of the new format. He won a further five games to become the first viscount of the series, and returned for the final stages as #5 seed, where he lost his quarter-final to Paul Ryan.
