Joe Zubaidi was a contestant during Series 48, with 665 points during his octochamp run. Joe made his first appearance on 21st November 2002, with a victory over Ian Courcoux. Joe's 665 points were enough to secure the position of #6 seed for the series finals.
It was in his quarter final against George Greenhough that Joe scored 94, the highest that he achieved out of any of his games. However, Joe couldn't maintain that level of scoring in the semifinal, falling to Grace Page by 104 points to 71.
