Philip Aston is a regular Apterite who made his online tournament debut in the sixth edition of AptoSOS against the event's organiser Matt Morrison, losing his only game by four points. He will appear on the show in Series 78.
He is also a competitive Scrabble player and in 2016 attended his first two Scrabble tournaments: the Rotary Open Scrabble Championship of Wiltshire, held on the outskirts of Swindon, followed by Nailsea in Somerset.
