Bell first appeared on 3 November 2021 against Jamie Brown where he won with a score of 111 to Brown's 61 points. From there he continued with a run of two centuries, including personal best of 118, and 2 scores in the 90's before losing his sixth game to Graham Grant.

Bell qualified for the series finals as the 7th seed, where he played against fellow Scotsman Stu Harkness. Bell levelled the scoreline in the first numbers game, until Harkness picked up pace and eventually broke away with a nine-letter spot of LIONHEART, although both players found POWDERISE for nine. After an impossible last numbers, Bell then solved the conundrum to bow out with 82 points, while Harkness advanced with 112 points. Bell amassed an overall total of 657 points in his run.
