Speed Countdown is a variant on the normal Countdown game that is occasionally played via MSN Messenger. In each letters round, players must choose their nine letters all at once, and they only receive ten seconds in which to find their word. In the numbers round, the numbers and total are revealed simultaneously, and the time limit is ten seconds as well. Aside from the changed time limit, the conundrum remains unchanged.
