Episode S26
Episode S26 was a special episode broadcast on 15 March 2010 in which the two Series champions of 2009 went face-to-face.
Chris Davies played Kirk Bevins, with Kirk Bevins winning 81 – 77. The Dictionary Corner guest was Gary Osborne, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
In this episode, the numbers games were unusual in that Rachel chose the selections and that the large numbers were not the usual ones. Of these, only 37 and 12 actually appeared; the other large numbers that could have been picked were not revealed, but in Episode S29, when they were used again, they were revealed to be 62 and 87.
The audience member who solved the conundrum was Series 57 contestant and future Series 80 champion: Dinos Sfyris.
