8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 1 was the first ever series of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, which only had two episodes airing on 12 and 19 April 2013. The series was commissioned after the success of the two pilot episodes recorded at The Leeds Studios in 2012, 8 Out of 10 Cats Do Countdown and 8 Out of 10 Cats Mashup: The Rematch. Following Countdown's move to the dock10 Studios for tapings which aired since 21 January 2013, the show had followed suit starting with the first episode from this series and has continued from there ever since.
