Alex Davis was a contestant in Series 38 and 39.
Davis lost his first game after mispronouncing the crucial conundrum PROBOSCIS, and was consequently given another opportunity in the following series later that year. However he was again defeated on his "second debut", on another crucial conundrum, DUPLICATE.
