Andrew Western was a contestant in Series 86. As at the time of broadcast, he was the Leader of Trafford Council and hailed from Trafford. Later in 2022, he would be through a by-election be elected MP for the constituency of Stretford and Urmston and would eventually serve in the governments of Keir Starmer and Andy Burnham.
