David Von Geyer
|David Von Geyer|
Von Geyer won his first head game by just 8 points when he solved the crucial conundrum PRATTLING. From there on he racked up 7 more wins with a high score of 98 against Eunan MacIntyre. He qualified for the finals as #6 seed as the lowest scoring octochamp. There he lost in the quarter-final against Jeffrey Hansford on a crucial conundrum which Hansford solved in less than half a second. Hansford was later accused of cheating.
He is half-Finnish, and a motorsport fan. He jokingly attributed Finland's high rate of successful racing drivers to the huge distance people have to travel to meet a boyfriend/girlfriend.
