Edith Bowman is a guest on Countdown. Born in Fife, she is a radio DJ and television presenter. She spent 11 years hosting segments for Radio 1, including stints co-presenting with Colin Murray, and has hosted a variety of music programmes for Channel 4 as well as music festivals. In 2005, she won Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.
