Lucy Roberts was a finalist in Series 41. She was a 22-year-old Postgraduate Student from Ipswich.
She was one of very few players ever to score 500 points in 8 9-round games, but was eventually #2 seed behind Scott Mearns by just a couple of points. Her 504 is the most ever for a #2 seed. Unfortunately for her, she lost unexpectedly in the quarter-final to Gary Woodward by seven points, and was never invited back to a Championship of Champions tournament.
In Roberts' fifth game, she scored 82 points, the joint third highest ever in a 9-round game.
