Well done with the date templates.  As to not putting very recent games in cos they're spoilers, I don't see any problem in adding results for any game which has been played, provided you don't do it until at least the following day.  After all, the templates are only displayed on the front page on the applicable day.  To be really safe, and I'm thinking of people in places like Seattle for example, it would be best if a result isn't added until the whole world has moved into the following day.  So, after 12 noon (UK time), it's ok to add the previous day's result. So no problem with 26th October. [[User:Drawoh|Drawoh]] 15:44, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Kai Laddiman's talk page

Welcome to the talk page for the user Kai Laddiman. Please feel free to leave him your comments, criticisms, suggestions and marriage proposals below.

I'm a larry

I really wish I had more Countdowners to talk to. Countdown is absolutely definitely positively the greatest thing ever. Please drop me a line and say hi.

Hi, from Geneva. (You would see my name if i´d been able to log in, but i´ve forgotten my password, so you´ll just have to guess who)  :)
And if you feel like it, you can keep the Series 60 page updated while i´m away.

MSN

Hi Kai,

I don't mind if you add me to MSN although I don't promise to be great company or anything. I will reveal my MSN in private if you want to know it. I'm not quite stupid enough to put it on a wiki user talk page. Mglovesfun 01:22, 15 February 2009 (UTC). Oh and the above messages aren't from me. Geneva is in Switzerland, and I'm not! Mglovesfun 01:22, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Recaps

Well done with recap tidy for 4491. All looks very good. I think the only way you've gone against the stile guide recommendations is to put DC offerings before Other offerings, rather than sort in alphabetical order. But most people do that anyway, and alphabetical sorting is only a recommendation after all, not mandatory. So great.  :) Look forward to more now. You'll find a considerable variety in what tidying is needed for the various recaps (usually depending on who wrote the yahoo group recap). drawoh 10:01, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Steve or Steven

It had been deliberate, calling him Steven in series fifty something and Steve in COC13, because that's what he was actually known as on the two occasions. I'm not really worried either way, but changing all references to Steven will involve a lot more that just his pages. :) drawoh 18:33, 21 June 2009 (BST)

Yeh, OK, I think it's probably better like it was. :-) Countdown Kid 18:35, 21 June 2009 (BST)

My signature

I normally do! I'd tried to make it look cooler as per my signature on Wikipedia, but didn't realise that the substitution template which I use to do that on Wikipedia doesn't exist on The Countdown Wiki.

So I ended up looking like a tit. Yours with four tildes, Chris 'Crispy' Philpot 21:57, 27 June 2009 (BST)

Three quick replies to three quick things

  • (recent updates) No probs at all. I think that the S61 and associated pages are all up-to-date now, but after today I'm not around at all until the prog takes its summer break. With AH on now, it would certainly be useful if possible to keep his leaderboard total up-to-date regularly, particularly if he continues with high scores.
  • (featured article) Stewart Holden sounds a good subject. I'd go along with that.
  • (reappearers cat) Great idea. Would certainly be an interesting category. May take a bit of work hunting them all down. BTW, of the four possible reappearers in the last few days, AH is one of course, and Kate has confirmed that Mike is too. She's not sure about Chris or Anne though. I would suggest that it's confined to people who appear in two or more genuine series, and doesn't include those who are just invited back for specials. drawoh 19:33, 10 July 2009 (BST)

William G. Stewart

Hi Kai, Your support of William G. Stewart today compelled me to look him up on the Wiki, but I have found that it is impossible to get to his page on here, even though the search shows that it exists. I think this is a problem with people who use initials, as I sent a similar error to Howard the other day. Anyway, keep up the good work! Vande 20:09, 22 July 2009 (BST)

Recap tweaks

Hi, if you haven't noticed already, I replied to your question on my talk page so that others who may have been about to ask will see it. BTW, I just noticed that you just removed Category:Partial recaps from Episode 3342 and Episode 2162. These are both partial – look at the numbers rounds and you'll see. -- Smjg 17:16, 25 July 2009 (BST)

Yeh, I noticed your reply, and I think it would be easier for your program to do it than for me to do it. And about those, oops, I didn't notice.
