He continued a strong run with 7 centuries and one score in the 90's. His eighth game was not broadcast on 3 December 2021 as scheduled due to technical problems; it remains unknown when or if his eighth game will be televised or uploaded to All4, but it was made available on Virgin Media's catch up service.
He is also a competitive Scrabble player and qualified for the National Scrabble Championship Finals in 2016.
