Episode CC1 was broadcast on 19 April 1982 in the Yorkshire region only, as the first quarter-final of Calendar Countdown.
Angela Booth played Harry Venet, with Harry Venet winning 29 – 18. The Dictionary Corner guest and lexicographer was Ted Moult.
Venet would go on to make the finals of Series 3 of Countdown in late 1983, as well as in two episodes of the Countdown Masters.
