Christmas 2020 Specials

Have just been announced, and apparently fulfilled. I propose that since these are being made-for-a-specific-date, they get normal episode numbers rather than the "S" prefix which is used for episodes out of sequence. Thoughts? The Doctor 21:06, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

Never mind, just spotted the most recent edit to Series 82, and I'm amazed that they're proposing three episodes given they've still got one unaired to put out first.--Launchballer 12:04, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

Damian's said it was sprung on him as a surprise ("we end on Fri 18 Dec" / (C4:) "what about the next week"). I sort of understand, but that wouldn't be my first thought if I were Damian, to do archive-diving. The Doctor 16:35, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

Anyway, I would reply to your main comment by saying that "S" episodes were filmed out of sequence and dropped in where needed: Episodes 445, 495, 1003, 1523, 2874, and 4473 were all filmed and broadcast in sequence. The Doctor 21:49, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

Contestant positions

I have a really bad feeling many of these are now wrong (James changed them all about 10 years ago before C1 was champ and C2 was challenger). this video of the credits of Episode 312 has the contestants round the wrong way and Episode 28 I have partially changed. Do we have any solid evidence for the fact that champions move? Episode 15 was also wrong, and if they don't move then 12-26 are also wrong.--Launchballer 16:28, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Champions stayed where they were until Series 37 I think it was - possibly a draw flips them? May send a message to Mike and Robbo as well on this. The Doctor 21:37, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

EPisode 17: "Andrew won the toss." Oh bollocks. That means almost every episode could be wrong. Mike Brown says that Series 8 onwards should be fine, but yeah we're in a spot of bother now. The Doctor 20:42, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

I'm really not sure about this. Quite apart from being incomplete (Alan Sugar, Gordon Brown, Maven Riley-Kovalev to name but three), there seems very little point in naming every cameo? The Doctor (talk | contribs) 21:15, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

If I remember correctly, I created it for notable people who either a) turn up twice, in which case there is no obvious redirect target, or b) already have their own page, i.e. Terry Wogan and Rory Bremner, at which you may as well mention it anyway.
