Series 88 will be the next series of Countdown, and the fourth series to feature Colin Murray as presenter.

Adrian Clarke, who won the final preliminary match of Series 87, will return to continue his run in the first preliminary of this series.

This series will see former presenter Jeff Stelling in Dictionary Corner for one week, marking his first appearance on the show since he left in 2011.
